If you are interested in taking piano lessons but are curious as to which route to take, traditional vs. downloadable piano lessons, read on to see the pros and cons of both. I personally took traditional piano lessons for 12 years but have continued my education on my own and have been rewarded by each method.

Taking traditional piano lessons are the way to go if you are serious about learning the piano and have the time and money to devote to it. Paying for piano lessons over time can be expensive, but there are many teachers out there with reasonable prices so it doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg in order to go the traditional route, especially if your goal is to test the waters and see if learning piano is right for you. And traditional piano lessons can be the best way to get hands on help from someone.

If you are motivated and able to set goals for yourself, an even better way to go is to download piano lessons online and learn on your own. This also allows you the freedom to practice and learn on your schedule without the pressure of having a lesson every week to prepare for, this is especially good for adults since time goes by so much faster and the weeks can seem like a day!
